Young Adult Ministry Leader

Purpose
The young adult ministry leader serves as the overall leader of the young adult ministry. He/she is of spiritual maturity, a humble spirit, and godly character who desires to help young adults both within and outside of the church for the purpose of establishing the kingdom of God in San Bernardino.

Pastor

Description of duties
- Create an overall plan and budget for a comprehensive program of young adult ministries to establish the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Plan events and activities that promote the growth (spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, etc.) of young adults inside and outside the church
- Communicate needs of young adults to church board
- Keep pastor informed of plans and problems while establishing the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- With the pastor, look for ways to make church service interesting and meaningful for young adults while establishing the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Create cross-generational Sabbath school with the help of Sabbath School leader to establish the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Keep permanent record of all the young adults in the church and those non-members who have attended outreach programs or visited on Sabbath
- Provide calendar of all young adult activities and events
- Conduct needs assessment among the young adults in the congregation and the community and plan events around those needs to establish the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Find outreach opportunities for young adults in which they can participate for the purpose of establishing the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Participate in young adult ministry committee

- Has a passion and vision for ministry of young adults for the purpose of establishing the kingdom of God in San Bernardino
- Possesses some of the following gifts: administration, discernment, encouragement, faith, helps, hospitality, knowledge, leadership, mercy, shepherding, teaching, and/or wisdom
